Testing WP1.6's Image Uploading

This is a test of the image uploading capabilities of WordPress 1.6. I upload, then I drag... Let's see if it works.

WordPress 1.6

I am now using WordPress 1.6. The upgrade went ... decent. I had to do some database manipulation as WordPress didn't give the admin user any capabilities after the upgrade. But other than that it was quite smooth. I even took the time to clear all the spam comments, 668 of them, and freed up about 80KB.

SS Edmund Fitzgerald

SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a ship that sank suddenly on Lake Superior, November 10, 1975. The ship went down without a distress signal in a November gale. It sank in 530 feet (162 m) of water at 46°59.9′ N 85°6.6′ W, in Canadian waters about 17 statute miles (15 nm; 27 km) from the entrance to Whitefish Bay. All 29 members of the crew were killed.

I Am Not Here

As I look around my surroundings I finally realize that I am not here. I am there. I am there in front of me, I am there behind me, I am there inside me. I will never be here. I refuse to comply with your rules. I AM THERE!

Puppies and Daffodils

One day while I was eating a puppy (the tenderloin is quite good), I saw a daffodil. I said to the daffodil, "hello little daffodil". To my shagrin, the daffodil did not reply.

Apology

To all of those who have left comments on my blog or emailed in the last couple of weeks looking for support, I owe you an apology. Sorry.

Site Update (aka Lucid 2.0)

I've updated the look and feel of this site a bit. Not much has changed, but the colours are much nicer now. You'll also notice the brand new header. Let me tell you about a couple of the features.

URI, URL, URN, You Are What?

First off let me state, I have no clue what I'm talking about here. Now that we all know, or already knew, that, let's get started. From what I can figure out, the basics of UR* acronyms goes a little som'n som'n like this:

Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to meeeee....

Motley Crew, Motherfucker

I went to see Motley Crew last night (Sunday). Aside from not opening the gates until 7:00 for a 7:30 show, making us wait outside in the cold, it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. From the midgets opening up the show to the strippers repelling down from the ceiling, it was all wicked cool.

Pax Galactica, A Story Blog

I was over at Rocket Dog today and noticed a new link on the sidebar. Clicking, I was transported to Pax Galactica, by what means, I'm still left to ponder. What I found though, was brilliantly written story. Here's an excerpt.
