It has been a good Christmas so far. The best present I got, was a new domain name. mattread.ca. It may not work yet for you, as I just changed the Name Server entries a few minutes ago. But now I have both .com and .ca, sweet!

Well nothing really exciting, but I just did the front brakes, pads and rotors, and an oil change on my car. I always do my own oil changes, but this was the first time I've done brakes.

Today I turn 26! last year I was 25, and now I'm a year older. For you techincal people out there that's 25 + 1 = 26. I feel musch older than last year, like at least one year older. Damn, I just realized I'm almost 30. ahhhhhh!

Yes, my computer seems to have completely died last night. It looks like bad RAM but I'm not sure. Here's what happens.

I subscribe to the WP Hackers mailing list, but found my email client wasn't the greatest for reading the list. And I didn't feel like subscribing to all the other lists just to keep up with things. So I hacked together a nice script to create RSS feeds out of the WordPress mailing lists. It updates every hour, so there's no need to grab it every 5 minutes ;).

Oh god! Another meme. I hate these things, but at least it gives me something to post. And isn't it bad luck not to do it? Damn you Shep! This sentence made no sense, random words inserted here.

Well, my next plugin is here, almost. Installer is a plugin that will install plugins or themes, that are in a "zip" format, from a local or remote location. All you have to do is install this plugin, the old way, then just enter in the URI to the package you want to install and it installs it. All with one click.

CQS 2.7 is out. This version is only for WordPress 2.0. Not much has changed, the admin layout is a bit different, and the Delete all button has been replaced with a check all button. Other than that it pretty much the same.

... Or something like that.

Let's try uploading an image again. Upload Image, Drag to post ... OH! Click on Thumb, then "toggle" the "Link to ..", click "Close Options", then drag to post. That's it. Maybe lot's of clicking, but still pretty awesome!
